The production chain
At Salbac, our specialtiesare prepared in two modern, EU standards-compliant, fully automated factories. Day by day, 20 tons of cured and boiled and smoked goodies are carefully prepared only from meat supplied by our own farms. The Agricola cured salamis are the result of responsibly cultivating the localtraditions, as animal slaughtering and meat processing have an over 115 years history in our area. The Salbac techniques for cured salamis with edible mould are in use since 1976. Of course, nowadays we use these techniques along with the latest technologies, on an automated production line. It is true, we’ve traded oak for stainless steel, but the recipe, the mastery and the taste of the authentic Agricola Sibiu-type salami have stayed the same. Our priceless treasure is our pride both domestically, and abroad.
